30 Things You Can Do Instead of Scrolling on Social Media

I try to have days where i let go of social media to do something for myself, and actually have me time. At first i can admit it was kind of hard because social media can be addictive, but eventually i was able to just go for it. Focusing on self-care is definitely important, especially if you are automatically a busy person and easily to get overwhelmed + distracted. We have other valuable time in our lives besides being on social media and watching what others are doing with there lives. Here are 30 things you can do instead of scrolling on social media.

 

PREP TALK ON LETTING GO SHAME (2)

 

  1. Take a walk
  2. Read a book
  3. Stretch/do yoga
  4. Do a mini workout
  5. Do something creative
  6. Make a to-do list for the next day
  7. Call a friend
  8. Journal how you’re feeling
  9. Cook a simple meal
  10. Make a Vision Board

 

 

  1. Journal your current feelings
  2. Cook your favorite meal
  3. Have your own sip & paint in the comfort of your own home
  4. Meditate
  5. Write down what you’re grateful for
  6. Get lost in your own thoughts
  7. Listen to a podcast
  8. Put on your favorite music and just listen +relax
  9. Call some one you are close to for some good laughs
  10. Write a new set of goals+plans
